Can you help with the procurment of Vacuum bagging eqipment for the amatuer builder. most pumps I have found are well over the $1000 mark.

Any cheap ($100) Chinese compressor will suck the air out of your vacuum bag. Just remove the intake filter and rig up a threaded nipple to allow you to fit a hose which connects to the bag.

I know the person who started my KR2 used this system to make his own.

I found on ebay an airconditioning pump for just over $100 now just learning to work with it..
