Then he just pulls them up in there...so nifty! I'd be a litte scared of falling out is there something you close behind you? or sit on?
BLA82 Posted November 26, 2008 Author Posted November 26, 2008 The aircraft is a swift glider, a full composite hangglider(sort off). Yes there is a seat to sit on. I reckon they are great.
Guest Maj Millard Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 I had the pleasure of knowing and flying with the boys who designed, and built the Swift, when flying ULs in N California in the 80s-90s. Frankly it was a bit like knowing the Wright Bros. They were so into, and so focused on "THE wing-any wing" almost as though there really wasn't much else required, to actually fly. And the Swift goes pretty close to proving, they wern't that far off the mark. PS: there are other links that show much more Swift flying, check them out, they are as equally amazing.
