Slightly off topic, but what are the odds of an airpark ever eventuating at The Oaks ?

Its a great idea - now been "in the works" for may be 10+ years ???? 

 

I am not a civil engineer however it strikes me that before a foundation is laid, a lot of drainage and flood mitigation work will need to be completed $$$$$$$$$.

 

Before the above is commenced an extensive/comprehensive environmental plan will need to be approved.$$$$ ????

 

Then then is the communities perception of larger & much more aircraft activity - noise & concerns about crashes.?????

 

There already is community concerns, with the existing very small number of movements -  almost exclusively Rotax/Jab (quiet aircraft) activity.

 

Lastly - my very limited understanding is,- the current management intend to control all aspects  of the development - this may be okay for hangers but what of dwellings?
