The end result was the de Havilland DH.106 Comet. The Comet 1 experienced a series of disastrous tragedies. This led to the much delayed development of the successful Comet 4. But by this time the USA’s Boeings were becoming available, & these proved much more popular than the Comet. Come see how all this unfolded. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
