The April RAA mag has a write up on this engine.

Now....I was thinking, since this engine will run in the horizontal position, a boxer type 4 cylinder engine could be developed with, basically independently run banks.

 

The biggest downside would be the engine width, which being OHC would run out to 800 mill or so.

 

Any thoughts on this engine which is designed to replace the Rotax 582?
