Visiting the Verdun battlefields

Last week we made a flying trip to Verdun, to visit the world war I battlefields and the Douaumont Ossuary. Coincidentally, this trip coincided with Ukraine's counteroffensive, and the blowing up of a dam in the Dnieper River.
