Rotax 912 Bed Mount

Afternoon all, I'm looking at fabricating a Chromoly Bed mount for my rotax for the Terrier and looking at using 5/8 0.068" Tube for the design

 

Here's the question, Do you need to heat treat the welds after its fabricated, i get mixed responses and answers from people including Lames etc, would be interested to know your thoughts, i know of a few people who have fabricated there own up without heat treating and no issues

Hey Skip, possibly, i like the system and was going to machine up some brackets in a similar way. they are a little on the expensive side though. send me a pm with what price you are thinking
