Motorised Hang Glider Crashes at Palm Beach

Sounds like a Trike and happily it sounds as though the pilot escaped injury.

It does indeed. A ducking for the pilot and and a bit of an oil-slick. The news media will lose interest now and go back to baiting Corey Worthington.

weren't these guys in the news a few weeks ago when the same thing happened in Rose Bay in Sydney Harbour.

 

Also the photo shows that the wheels are down

 

i rather liked the comment by a local commercial operator saying that this was as close to a commercial aircraft as 'qantas is to a sparrow landing in your backyard'

IIRC the Rose Bay incident was an Airborne XT so probably not the same guy unless he's got deep pockets (no pun intended)
