A plane?

Hi all,

 

Interested in a first plane project. Have been looking at a number of designs (Minimax, Legal Eagle and Affordaplane) Was wondering if anyone knows of Affordaplanes flying in Aus and how successful they have been.

Thank for that, but I already have it. Just want to know if anyone has actually flown one successfully in Australia.

Don't know of any here in Aus. But and here is the big but- they have a design flaw in how the loads are transmitted around the pilot esp in a crash.

 

Have a read on homebuilt airplanes forum- lots of discussion about it on there.

 

Have a look at the Texas parasol while your at it, probably a much better design and lots flying
