Chipmunk Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Hi, I am installing G3X touch x 2 and it appears the best position for the magnetometer will be in the Right hand wing tip. This also is the location of the VOR antenna. Is this acceptable? The Left wing tip is the location of the heated pitot. Both wing tips contain LED strobes and Nav lights. Autopilot servos in the fuselage and a hydraulic pump are the reasons for the wingtip selection. Also, how far apart should the transponder antenna be from the ADSB antenna?
