Long time student (33 years since solo) now retired and hoping to knock the rust off/out and get my license. Building a Sonex with standard gear. Intend to hang a Jabiru 3300 on it.

Welcome, JK. The J3.3 is a good fit to the Sonex, especially the new engine. Make sure you don't make my mistake- of letting the building work take precedence over regularly clearing the rust from your flying skills.
