radio freq input icom 210 from GPS data.

Hi all

 

I have a Garmin 495 and I know that if you have a Garmin SL 40 radio that you can transfer the radio freq and preload the radio from the gps. I have an icom 210 and it also has a RS-232 serial input.

 

I connected the gps data out to the radio serial input but no luck. It would not interface.

 

Has anyone done this successfully
