I don't know of anyone building in this part of the world, but there is a forum run from USA where someone is starting on one of them. Go to http://www.homebuiltairplanes.com/forums and look in "wood construction - piper cub about to begin".

 

You should find something of interest there.

Hi Ian....sorry for the delay in replying. I just ordered the Plans for the 100% J3 Cub replica from LMA. It will be a long slow build depending on time , money and space but I will get there one day! Im looking at the Jabiru 2200 engine unless I can locate a Continental C85hp or the like.
