Minister for Defence announces funding for pilot training

The Minister for Defence announced the provision of funding for the training of 40 pilots in both Sydney and Melbourne as well as loaning aircraft and spares in the first two years of the plan's operation. Thereafter, there will be an annual grant for each pilot trained. The funding will be provided to approved aero clubs in each city.
