I have just got advice from SAAA that there is a safety notice out for all Chris Heinz designed aircraft.

 

Check horizontal stab for cracking etc. If you own a CH plane sheck with SAAA or the manufacturer for details.

Thanks Jason. I wa sjust too lazy to look it up. Hopefully anyone with a CH plane will see this, or better still already knows about it.

Interesting. I have a CH701 with a Savannah horizontal stabiliser so technically it doesn't apply, even though the structure is very similar! I don't know about anyone else but I check the attachments for cracks on every preflight anyway.
