Still in the circuit!

Hi All,

 

I am now close to having my RAAus certificate. Have been training at Warwick in amongst the sailplanes in a J160D. Great fun. I did some GA training quite a while back but we no longer have any flight training at Armidale at all. Have a mate who built his own J230 and another whom I'm watching build a Savannah (and helping when I can). Not sure where I will end up. I would like to discuss RPL with anyone here that has made that transition - we have a perfectly good C172 at our club that is not expensive to hire.

Have a look at the next part of the forum, student pilots and all willl be revealed.

 

You may find the C172 a bit sluggish compared with some of the RAAus planes.
