It's sad that the passenger died.

It's also sad that another WW2 aircraft was lost.

Appears to be the "Janie" P51D Mustang. On checking the Hardwick Warbird site it has quite a history.

 

Yes, agree sad to loose an aviation enthusiast and an iconic aircraft.
