Groundhog Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Hi interesting reading, my project.! Shed cleanout and came accross a mid 2000 rotoway. Read forums and threads and there sems to be more against than for. Decided to strip out thr drive train and rebuild with a subaru diesel and a remanufctured gearbox. What I lose in weight with the motor I should be able to get back with a new aliminium planetary gearbox. Tail rotor, I am looking at a hydralic Drive. Numbers look like stacking up so far. See how the final weigts and CG works out.
