Guest SrPilot Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Another airplane has gone down in Lake Pontchartrain a rather large lake located just North of New Orleans, Louisiana. The lake almost seems to host an island of sirens when it comes to airplanes flying over. I can remember more than a couple of airplanes lost in the lake. One rescued, two missing last I heard. 2 missing, plane found after crash in New Orleans lake | Fox News Of course, one of New Orleans' airports -- Lakefront -- is a bit close to the lake.
