Hi ALL,

 

I am a new PPL from Hong Kong and planning to come to Australia in July and August to try clear out my cross-country restriction since Hong Kong is too small to do cross-country flights and we cannot fly across the border. Anyone can recommend me the places with better flying weather in the Australian winter time? I am planning to go to Tasmania, would it be ok in July and August?

Northern QLD is mid 20c most of winter

July and August will be winter in Tas.

 

As Ft said, the northern "dry season" would be best.

Thanks a lot Downunder and fly_tornado, is there any flight schools that you would recommend? Do you think the North Queensland Aero Club is a good school?
