Guest Maj Millard Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Had the Spirit drop in today with owner Tony Grant and tiger Moth pilot Graeme Atchinson on board. Tony recently finished the Spirit and it is hangared at Ayr, together with Graemes' Tiger. Three Spirit kits were imported by the previous Savannah importer in Mareeba, and two of the three are already flying. The Spirit is best described as a 'Super ' Savannah being designed and manufactured by a former U.S. Savannah dealer. E24-8611 is powered with a 100hp 912 with constant speed variable prop and cruises around 107 kts.
