It requires that a separate battery control unit be fitted if the type of battery is used. If you are lucky enough to own a 912iS ple own load the above and read...MANDATORY !!.... Personally I fel they should extend this SB to all 912 engines as the charging systems on those engines are designed to be comparable with lead acid batteries only.
