Gnarly Gnu Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Has anyone here seen 'Unbroken'? I've read some positive reviews online, apparently the aviation filming (simulation?) is very realistic.
Geoff13 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Saw the movie last night. Never having been in that type of aircraft I cannot comment on the flight sequences. What I will say is the man that the story is based on was a frigging hero of the first order. A real class act and he lived to the ripe old age of 97. I am not religious but this man after all he went through went on to follow and serve his religion. He also got to meet most of his tormentors and forgave them all. I had read of him before but to see the movie even allowing for poetic licence was absolutely humbling. 1
