Light aircraft flipped over during massive storm at Archerfield

Today's storm was the worst Brisbane has seen in at least 5 years (possibly 10). My car, along with thousands of other cars were damged by hail and debris. Multiple buildings with broken glass and roofs removed.

Sounds like a mini burst............dangerous stuff, too hot inland and not producing enough moisture . Very dry all over the place.

It wouldn't be November in Brissie without a storm, although this year they are late. I hope they come North as we need the rain. I wonder how those planes were tied down?

A mate has posted on FB that 9 aircraft have blown over ie- upside down and a further 5 with other damage. This does not include hail damage.
