I'm jumping between a J160 LH throttle RH stick and a Texan TC RH throttle LH stick. No problems sofar. I still have a problem with the throttle on a Jabiru LSA. Cant remember which way it goes...;)

It's like the accelerator in your car. Down is for greater power and up for lesser. I have never had a problem with this arrangement. When my Lightning flies (not for a long time yet), the throttle will be on the panel to my left hand. Pushing IN or down will give greater power and pulling it out or letting it up will be for lesser.
