Holden Airship Over Western Sydney

Visited us this morning quite low. A nice sight! Was having fun in the wind too. Amazing how many people notice this big red thing and come out onto their front lawns to have a look-see. Could see 3 crew on board (one in Holden jacket). Enjoy the pics!

Thanks Chris :) That was my favourite too. I actually edited the tree out of the bottom and put it in the September comp as I thought it looked like an air-to-air shot :)

That blimp is based at Camden when it is in Sydney. You should see some of the positions it gets itself into when it's moored and the wind comes up.

 

The pilot thinks he/she has an aerobatics rating. Some of the manoeuvres carried out over the airport are quite spectacular.
