Roscoe Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Hi all. Anybody have a solution?.....Can't get rid of the blue dye stain in 100 LL Avgas spilt during refueling. New Paint & stain on Strut.
Peter008 Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I just use an automotive car polish. It removes both Mogas & Avgas stains on the paint.
billwoodmason Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Just wash it off with detergent. I had a stain following a leak in a tank outlet and it just washed out after a couple of tries. It also stained the red stripe which with time has faded and is now undetectable. I initially thought I would never get rid of any of the stains but was pleasantly surprised. Good luck.
