Recent Canadian PPL - looking for a place to fly on Gold Coast

Hi all,

 

I recently completed my PPL in Canada while on a trip there.

 

I am heading home to Aus and looking to get some flying done in SE Queensland. I am based on Gold Coast. I have looked at a few schools in the area and will contact them when back but was hoping someone would be able to offer a few words of advice with regards to recommendations and the best way to approach doing my Canadian license conversion.

 

Also looking for a good place for plane rental for some cross country and perhaps some aerobatics work - Citabria ?
