Vortex Generators

Just wondering if anyone has used self adhesive Vortex Generator kits on their wings, horizontal and vertical stabilizer surfaces ? Any improvement in performance ?

Have a look at Stolspeed.com for a review of these on various craft.

 

Mine was done when slats were removed and wings extended on a Savannah.

 

Can I tell the difference. ...... if I didn't know they were there I don't think I would know. .... if you know what I mean. The before and after tape streaming along on wings on YouTube and site mentioned are fairly convincing.....

I fitted the Stolspeed ones a few years ago. Made the aeroplane more controllable at slow speeds, plus lowered the stall speed somewhat.
