Jaspers Brush between Xmas and New Years?

Hi all...travelling from Tamworth to Narooma for Xmas. Im trying to think up an excuse to escape the inlaws for a day. It looks like about a 2.30 hour drive up to Jaspers Brush from Narooma. Will there be anybody there at this time?
