Jab lands in paddock yesterday

Was cruising near Shepparton yesterday and heard a mayday call from a Jab. Luckily they made it safely down into a paddock without damage to aircraft or persons. Around 10kms north of Shep. Nobody around knew the aircraft. Would be interested to know what happened. Once on the ground their position was relayed to Air-Services and the police were called and attended with about 15 minutes, so it was all pretty quick. Perhaps they were on their way back from Bundy airshow as many others were yesterday too.
