Haven't had time to watch it all, however is that a Rotax powered Jabiru?

Nope it is Jabiru powered. All I know is the model of engine in it is not the same as what came from the factory, don't know if that means it is a more powerful one or not.

So it was probably a KFM or a Jab 1.6 upgraded to a 2.2, but then again not likely a 1.6 as they didn't need cowl mods like hat for a 2.2 upgrade. Either way, interesting "bumps" on the cowls.
