July 23, 2007 06:41pm Article from: AAP A PILOT is dead after his gyrocopter crash landed in southern Queensland. Police said the man was practising touchdowns and take-offs at the Applethorpe airstrip near Stanthorpe when he crashed into the ground about 5pm (AEST) today. Authorities are currently at the scene. No other information is available.
