Hello, Im Andy, a long time enthusiast of all things aero, in the main I am very RAAF orientated, I have a life long interest in RAAF history etc, I am a militaria collector with a passion for RAAF and Army Aviation covering the VietNam era upto the 1980s,

 

I have a particular interest in 2 squadron and the CAC Canberra Bomber, the Dakota/C-47 operations from WW2 until the retirement, and the 161 Recce Flight (Possums), I also have an interest in the USAF Strategic Air Command, my collectinghabits reflect this interest, I am hoping to make contact with some former Pilots and Aircrew of this era and further my thirst for knowledge concerning all this.

Welcome Andy, i used to be a Airframe fitter/Aircraft Technician in the RAAF.Spent 8.5 years on the F111.Spend 2 years working for British Aerospace in Saudi Arabia working on Tornado jets.
