Safety Officer

Since the RAA AGM has been been & gone does anyone know if the previously appointed acting Safety Officer ( which was apparently a job for the boys) has been officially ratified or scrapped 1 way or the other as their appears to have been no notification of this position on the RAA website in recent days

I had. A trawl last night through the members portal and can confirm that there is a posting in the meetings subsection that addresses this point.

 

I believe it said previous motion of the board to seek consultant involvement has been rescinded and a new motion to accept the CASA SMS template was accepted and then there was something about what it meant for staffing....have a look

 

My take is that its very much WIP and exactly what it means is still being worked through.
