I hope this is not seen as insensitive, but I would like to contact the family of Des Porter as I have some video footage of him and the Dragon that my son shot at the 2012 Watts Bridge fly-in that I would like to offer them. I'm not sure whether they would welcome the footage or whether it would bring back too much pain for them.

Scott, I suggest that you could contact John Dawson president of Caboolture Aero Club, John was a mate of the Porters, this may be easier than direct contact with the family.

 

There are photos of Riama on the clubs web site, still proud of that beautifull old machine.
