Qantas flight near miss

My co-worker was flying yesterday (21 April) from Brisbane to Perth and apparently somewhere over Adelaide the plane he was on had to dive quickly enough so that the passengers got lifted of their seats.

 

Later the pilot has explained that there was A380 on the same flight path as the Qantas flight.

 

Haven't seen anything on the news about this yet.
