That well known, infectious disease that compells many pilots to do something daft whenever they have an audience. As I understand it, the IL-76, like many heavies, has auto braking on the wheels during the retraction sequence - saves you putting a wheel spinning at serious rpm into a cramped wheelbay. Here, retracting whilst the rearmost tyres were still on the ground caused them to drag and one to burst. Imagine something with less brute power settling back onto the runway thanks to the speed bleeding off:yikes:
