Garmin 296 Emulator software for windows (or Linux)

Hi,

 

Anybody know of a Garmin 296 Emulator that can run under Windows (XP or W7)?

 

Someone mentioned there was one and a couple of articles on the web hinted that there may be one, but had a look around on Google and the Garmin web site with no luck.

 

Just need something I can practice with setting up routes and making changes etc to reducing the amount of time eyes are in the cockpit.

 

Always the instruction book but tend to get more out of playing and don't have access to the real McCoy ATM.

This looks perfect for learning to use the 296. US$35 well spent if that's the way you learn.
