Guest burbles1 Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I've just received the Dyson-Holland Cross-country training manual from the Recreational Flying shop, and it looks pretty exciting indeed. The inside pocket has a heap of colour charts, laminated cards for flight planning and even cloud charts (I've been looking for a good key to cloud types for a while). The manual has a good layout of graphics and working examples. I really liked the D-H BAK manual so I'm looking forward to getting into this one.
Guest davidh10 Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 ...(I've been looking for a good key to cloud types for a while)... Have a look at The Cloud Appreciation Society web site. It is the best reference to cloud types, with pictures, that I have discovered to-date. Better than the BOM!
