I wonder if this could mean some Gliding Clubs are forced to fold. Updating from a Blanik to a more modern machine may strain the finances ?

Glider aerobatics

 

Well worth it if you can ever get the chance - I've done some aerobatic training in a glider, was a real eye opener.

 

By the way, it wasn't in a Blanik!

Wow, thanks Winsor68, that's flying at it's most beautiful. Many of us have fond memories of beginning in this wonderful old craft, and being able to push the envelope further than RAAus aircraft are allowed. After a half century of faithful service most Blanics are now past this sort of treatment.

Guys I did aero's the first time I went up in our Club Blanik......What a buzzzzzzzzzz......and watching that pilot as he was inverted...I just squelled with delight...ohhh I remember doing that and I was hooked for life.....and spinns Wow
