I recall seeing the Duxford workshop in 1981. It was mindboggeling what they do with what is really only a lot of old "rubbish". Much of the work is done by volunteers. If my memory serves me right they had started on what would become " Black 6" .

 

I think the early Spitfire Mk's are the prettiest .
