Does anyone know what accommodation is available around Watts Bridge airfield

Many of the hangars have chalets attached so you might be able to find a friendly local who would put you up overnight.

 

Failing that, the nearest town is Toogoolawah which has a number of pubs with accommodation. Theres also a motel IIRC.

 

I wouldn't want to try walking to there from the airfield though.

Camping is also available for $10/night by arrangement contact the caretaker Bruce and Mary Clarke via the website. This weekend is the annual Poker Run and Christmas in July.:thumb_up:

Thanks for the advice - maybe the 20min flight to Toowoomba may be the best option
