Hi everyone, I'm 46 and have just joined Rec flying. Currently fly out of Karratha W.A in a Cessena 172 on SPL but moving back to the Perth area in a few months and thinking about jumping into the Rec Avaition arena (Mircolights). I flew in one years ago (joy flight) and loved the freedom.

 

Can anyone recommend a good microlight club around Perth?.

You'll find a number of other WA residents here on the forums,

 

I am ex GA myself, mostly C172 and feel that unless you need the extra 2 seats and the controlled airspace entry, you won't look back by switching to RA. By and large the aircraft are more fun to fly and certainly a whole lot cheaper to operate and hire.
