It connects the ECU to the BUDS software in a windows computer and displays error codes, sensor outputs , etc. You need to do a Rotax course to understand the system and obtain documentation. 	This is a beautiful wooden propeller. 72 X 48 two blade. This design was first tested on a different aircraft to mine but broadly similar to mine. Mine is a Bushcat. What I didn't realise though, is that the other aircraft must have been a 912UL with a 2.27:1 gearbox. Because when it came time test fly mine (2.43:1 gearbox) it could only manage 65 knots and the engine could redline on takeoff. I've since replaced it with a more suitable, but less elegant looking propeller.

	This prop was removed at 21.4 hours. It's a pity as it is really lovely. Comes with the spinner and front plate. And I'm throwing in a superfluous to me hub adaptor with one doover missing.

<p>
	This is the same setup that I have been using for 18 years. The carby is an SU HIF6  (1 3/4 inch throat) from a single carby Volvo 144. This version has an enricher valve (read "choke") that twin carb versions don't have.
</p>

<p>
	As a pressure operated carby it automatically altitude compensates (same as Bing used on Rotax and Jabiru) and also has a temperature compensated jet. The throttle spring is set up for wide open if linkage or cable disconnects.
</p>

<p>
	The piston slide uses a linear ball race for trouble-free operation. Depending on the level of engine tune the needle may need to be replaced. I find a needle code BAG most suitable on my engine. 
</p>

<p>
	The manifold is actually from an EA82 engine which has the advantage of the water outlet being at the firewall end of the installation. It has been modified with unwanted coolant and vacuum pipes plugged.`The adaptor elbow 
</p>

<p>
	is angled to keep the carby horizontal in flight. 
</p>

<p>

	I'm selling my Valley Engineering "Big Bad Twin" (as they called it).  It is a Generac big blovk (990cc) engine together with custom made Culver prop and custom belt redrive.<br />
	The engine is brand new.  I bought it to mount in my then project, but I now realise it is a bit too big.

	<span style="background-color:#f0f4f7;color:#000000;font-size:12.48px;">Valley Engineering, said that their 50hp motor turning a larger prop (which they supplied) outperforms the 60 hp direct drive vw, and it does so with a pretty significant weigh savings at only 29 litres per hour.</span>

	"The "Big Twin" starts out life as a Generac generator engine, which Valley Engineering modifies with the addition of a specially designed intake manifold and carburation. With the low rpm and low compression, Gene estimates the TBO at 1,000 hours.

	Valley Engineering is offering "Big Twin" engine firewall forward packages which include a custom intake manifold, Weber carburetor, custom carb heat and a Culver propeller. 	This propeller was originally built for a Skyfox. It is in excellent condition and comes with a 250mm aluminium spinner with backing plate. Dimensions are 60" x 30" pitch. It was flown on my VP-2 and attained 3,600 rpm for initial climb and 3,200 rpm in cruise. It is set up for AeroPower or Revmaster hub patterns.
